Life Changes
Every day, life shifts and bends,
We lose old things, and find new friends.
The road ahead is rarely clear,
But somehow, still, we persevere.
The job may change, the faces too,
What once felt sure may slip from view.
We stumble, learn, and try again.
Each ending shapes what will remain.
The mirror shows a different face,
New lines appear, we slow our pace.
But growing old is not defeat.
It’s proof we’ve lived, and that is sweet.
A move, a loss, a brand-new start,
Can shake the ground, yet grow the heart.
We plant fresh roots where storms have passed,
And bloom in soil we thought won’t last.
So let life change, it always will,
The world turns on, both loud and still.
Embrace the shifts, both small and wide.
There’s strength in change, and not just pride.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

Every moment, life is changing with hope. Good choice.
All I can say is "Exactly!" Good job.
