I lied to you in so many ways
That I forgot the truth
Believing in the yarn I spun
I tripped and fell for you
But you cut every string you saw
When you walked away
And I cried from the pain of loss
Begging you to stay
If you only knew what’s real
What I hid in my jests
You’d have only left me fast
And ripped apart my chest
In there you’d find my heart was still
No blood within my veins
For I had stopped loving you
So long what’s left was feigned
But as you fled my heart did beat
And tore apart my breast
I wonder when it started back?
Which lie should I put to rest?
