I told myself lies
Continuously
As a chlld
As a means
To keep me safe
Small lies, white lies
Big lies, with blind eyes
You see?
Lies are like bricks
Building blocks
And sticks
I made piles and piles
Of them
The lies then
They became
My dearest friend
The one who knows
me so well
In this life
They protect me
From the perceived
Hell-ish shores
This world had floundered
Me upon repeatedly
So I ask what happens
When they are all gone?
When the last takeaway
Is not the lie
But the sweet truth
That i gave away
