LETTING GO
“Letting go isn’t losing—it’s making space for something greater.

You held on—
Even when hope was nothing but a whisper,
A fragile thread keeping you tethered to a dream.
You dreamed—
Of a love that was certain, of forever in their arms,
Of being theirs, and them being yours, always.
You clung—
To every fleeting moment, every half-spoken promise,
To the warmth of what once was,
To a love fierce, reckless, and all-consuming.
You wished—
For a happy ending, for love that stood the test of time,
For a heart that beat only for you.
But one rude awakening was all it took.
Now, you let go—
Not because the love wasn’t real,
But because holding on was never enough to make it stay.
A tear or two? Let them fall.
They carry the weight of what was,
But they will not define what comes next.
Your heart is weary—set it free.
Let it breathe, let it heal, let it dream anew.
Be bold, be radiant, be happy.
Because in the end, you have only you.
And that is not just enough—
That is everything.
