LETTER TO THE BROKEN HEART

Dear broken heart;

I know you haven't heard from me in a long time, but it wasn't because of my absence, they weren't those kinds of moments where someone like me could be present; Even though I was, you didn't perceive me the same way, and that's okay.

I know that every crack you have seems incurable; Silence and involuntary blindness bring with them their consequences. I also know that you keep memories in each of your holes, but it is my duty to remind you that deceptions, lies and false promises were the cause.

I see you tired, you are sleepy and you constantly feel cold because of those holes, it feels like you could die from a broken heart, but you must understand that those little pieces have been taken away. They are no longer yours, there is no way to get them back and, even if they did come back, they simply no longer belong to you, they no longer fit you.

I know it hurts you, I know you can't or don't want to get up. Don't worry. Do not rush. I have come today to keep you company, to tell you about good things and help you heal. Consider this our first love letter, because I declare my loyalty to you and allow me to presume that there is no one more unconditional than me. So, openly, I can tell you and assure you that everything will be okay, it gets better. You just need me a little.
