Let Us Coexist

“Let Us Coexist”
What if we all joined gangs today,
What kind would you be part of?
Would it be a righteous one, would you
bleed for one?
Some just march along, while others
beat their drums.
Funny thing is everyone already
took part in one.
They go left and they go right,
some the center line.
Call it what you want, we got
churches, we got mosques and synagogues.
Some cheer on the Padres,
others swing for Braves.
Some like equality, some like hate,
call it what you want, we all join gangs.
Would you do it for your country,
or your family?
Some join Army, some Sorority,
others Fraternity, even governments
have been made.
I liked Zelda, they liked Ness,
It’s just a game, let’s not go amiss.
What would you do, if you were forced
To join, would you learn how to coexist?

Forced to join? Um, no thanks, lol. I'll tell them to leave me out of it. Loved your poem!
