Let's Pledge to Save the Earth
by embracing sustainability

Another Earth Day is here,
Let’s not make it just another day
that we remember and forget.
We have only one planet to live on,
and we’ve already damaged it.
Let’s not cross the tipping point.
Let’s teach the kids the mantra of
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle —
and most importantly, let’s lead by example.
We had the used glass bottles.
I didn’t just throw them in the bin.
I painted them with acrylic colors,
and turned them into DIY art pieces
for decorating the house.
I didn’t fall for mindless consumption.
Instead, I embraced frugality and sustainability—
not to forget creativity.
Such little steps make a big difference.
Let’s pledge to keep taking such wise actions—
and the ailing Earth will heal.

Good job and I do try to reuse as much as possible the best way I know how, but recycling is the way to go most of the time. We save cans and plastic and take them to the local store so they recycle them.
