Summer sunset, front porch, black Converse

Hands on your chest, covered in sweat, this won't hurt.

Concrete city, you're so pretty

I think I wanna run away and take you with me.

Summer sunrise, white sheets, and start again.

Let's change each other's lives, just for a little bit.

We'll change the pieces around that don't quite

fit.

They named beauty after you, hot sidewalks, long talks,

my new perfume.

Cricket nights, gray from white but

We see new birth in the lightning.

Didn't know July storms until they brewed.

Thunder hearts, rain brains, and heated rooms.

Let's change each other's lives, just for a little bit.

Curse the stars where underneath we both would sit.

If your eyes never met mine, that would have been

it.

It all would have ended before it could

begin.

But brown met blue and I met you

And love could not help but to bloom.

6:30am and I'm where your day leads you.

Love set its sights on only us two.

Let's change each other's lives, just for a little bit.

We'll bend and break the molds and go with it.

Let's change each other's lives
