let me list the ways

i know many ways to love you.

but let me name a few:

for some, love is a risk to give;

from some, a risk to get;

some of us give love in a note;

some sing it in a song;

some will put love into poem;

some won't ever tell you;

some need to be your one and only;

some want it in a vow;

some want more than love;

some need less of it;

some want to be seen in love;

some love is made in all of the grey hues;

some will love you like a drug;

some just want to get it back;

some give love like it's a rule;

they say it is a must, as love, you must obey;

some seem like they beg for love;

some will take love at any cost;

some will love you how you want;

and even if they don't know how,

some will say they mean to;

some love with all they have;

some fall fast, some slow, some hard;

some hide love to keep it safe;

some fall head over heel;

some fall in lust and want it to be the same;

some just love what they can't have;

to some, love is a test;

some love is pain;

some love is safe;

some even call it home

for many it's as good as gold;

and if you don't love you, none can do it for you.
