What do remember from your school days?

Is it the past teachers and friends you made and had or

was it the squeaky pencil sharpner or the nails across the

blackboard that quieted everyone down.

Was it the textbooks that you had to read or the compositions

that we all had to write that were called a 'theme'.

You know when I was in school I really do not remember

teacher calling reports - a theme.

Could it have been the holiday parties that the teachers gave us on the major holidays from Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentine's Day? What memories that were good and bad---- depending.

There were many lessons we all had to learn from Kindergarten on till we graduated whether academic to social. The one lesson I learned, believe it or not was try and be understanding of others feelings, but even in early childhood this is possible but hard to do and prove.

Lessons were learned and some did stick even with a hickory stick as the old song says.
