Lessons in Circumstance in Recorded History
it appears full circle today...

Sure, it’s true, —the coach
is not always the best player
but it’s a team sport anyways.
The game changes, the power shifts
in the advent of circumstance.
When I think of light,
I think of the renaissance.
Recalling light and how it reflects
off the skin of Madonna and Child.
Strategic arrows penetrating saints,
and thorny crowns, great minds
in the study of science, cadavers,
sonnets, the possibilities of flight,
of how light reflects, softens,
how it betrays with refraction, how
we are here, how we are there,
how just is just when all that’s needed
is a little gasoline.
I've been considering a series with the renaissance and how it relates to modern times, maybe not all in this graphic form - What are your thoughts, I'm curious!
