Lemon Honey

By William Sangalli

By Will SangalliPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

The lemon honey dripping from her maw.

The taste of sweetness is like no other.

As if a craving has set in and overwhelmed the mind.

The nectar is spilling.

The world now seems right

No longer is there a reason to be resigned.

If you want to live, then be nothing but inclined

To continue down your journey and join humankind.

She gave you a reason to leave it all behind

To experience bliss while you are combined

Which makes you feel fulfilling.

You don’t know who you are or what you have become

But you hope this taste never leaves your tongue, god willing

No more do you need a car, house, or money

Since all that takes away from— Her lemon honey.
