Don’t ever say I didn’t grieve you
For fifteen months I was wearing black
Digging perpetual graves
Writing endless eulogies
Watching petals wither

But you are not the only one I lost
And it was time I got back to myself
So I have finally left the wake

I no longer weep with the sky
Now I dance with the sunlight
❀
The soil is soft again
It is time to plant fresh starts

OOooo! I hope you entered this for the tattoo challenge, because there are a couple couplets that I'd definitely get inked! My favourite is "I no longer weep with the sky, Now I dance with the sunlight"
Now that last line is a tattoo for every broken hearted person out there (especially any broken hearted gardeners out there).
