Took my time to let It out
Voices In my head are loud
Fighting battles In & out
Always rattled but not proud
Grabbed a pen & wrote It down
All the words went round & round
On this beat just hear the sound
As I go off to blow the town
You never believed In me
Well done for leaving me
On my own I got back up
Grinding hard & racking up
Motivation was the key
Daily prayers with my knee
Moving forward I’m proud to see
How far I’ve come beneath the sea
You left me out was down & out
You’re no good like a brussel sprout
Leaving me for a different route
Believed In me for a new way out
Slowly had to write It down
All my feelings for my crown
On the drill just hear the sound
Of the drums It’s going down
What’s all the fuss you broke my trust
It’s you & I you left out ‘us’
Moving forward now that’s a must
Head so big like a double decked bus
On my own I found a way
When I pray I have my say
Day by day along the way
As long the way don’t ruin my day
