
Someone asked me today how was I able to go from upset and crying to peaceful and positive?
Simple, I think towards you. I search for words to speak to the mood I’m in. Reading calms me down because I know it’s giving me the tools and guidance to get through whatever I am gong through.
Approaching a situation like this is hard, takes practice and doesn’t come right away. I usually spend hours in the mood I am in. I wallow in self pity, doubt, anger and frustration until I come to realize that the only thing that will make things better is reading with faith.
Like the rain drop falling from the its place in the sky, and landing on the leaf for support. I fall from my spot often enough to know that the leaf or in this case you will stretch out your hand to catch, support and stop me from falling straight into the ground.
When I am tired, stressed, upset, sad, happy, thankful, unsure and in need, I meditate and focus on you and what you can and will do for me. I give my burdens to you and with confidence know that you will take care of me.
I meditate throughout the day but most deeply right before bed. Doing it this way I give you everything from the day over. With your love, grace and faith I can rest for the night.
