Your weary mind stumbles
Your fettered heart trembles
In a sad and stubborn loop
Step
through
the
Portal
The soothing scent softly wafting
Up to the lofty heights of your mind
Calming you, bombing you with quiet
Peace pitter patters into your soul
Leaving footprints on your thoughts
Sink softly in the field of purple essence
Ahh, that's it...
Close your eyes, feel it seeping into your soul like a gentle stream breaching its carefree banks
Now, catch the feels
Hold them, look at them, their shapes and sizes and colors, how they sound
There are no fences here, just wide open space
To stretch your being, to bend light through your newly polished eyes
Under gossamer skies.

Well-wrought! If only life could always be so, but some fields are for peace and some for battle, until we make our peace and move on from this mortal coil.
This description is really vivid. It makes me imagine a peaceful, almost dreamy state. Have you ever felt like you were in a place like this? I wonder what inspired you to write about such a serene experience. It makes me wanna just close my eyes and picture it.
Excuse me while I go catch some feels, I've got a poem or two to write today. LOL great piece.
