Laughter and Sarcasm

A Lighthearted Duet

By Finola bozlarPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Humor and satire, oh what a mix

It brings a smile to those who are fix

In a world of serious things, it's a relief

To find the funny side and bring a belief

//

That laughter is the best medicine, they say

And with humor, one can chase the blues away

It's a tool that we can all use with skill

To bring joy and happiness, even to those who are ill

//

Satire on the other hand, is a different brew

It pokes fun at society, in all that it do

With wit and sarcasm, it holds up a mirror

And exposes the faults, that often we err

//

Together they form a potent pair

That can make even the grimmest of days fair

So let us embrace humor and satire with glee

And laugh at life's absurdity, as it's meant to be.
