Last New Year's

Lament, Like a Drop of Discontent

Last year's lament

Like a drop of discontent

If hatred was an inner howl

I don't carry it very well

Lest it leaves a hole in my soul

And would yours swell

At the very thought of it?

Would you suffer just a bit

As if a comet lit your loins.

Never a servant at your feet will I be

Too much for you

And this you do know

So flip off

As the closest, you're going to get next to me

Is the closet you crawled out of.

I dare you

I dare you

See my chin

Is it trembling

Is it thin

See my smile, is it fine?

I already read your fortune, didn't I?

Yet, still you try

Yes, still in forgiveness

A reach from your soul

But thunderous echos filled the night

A thrilled respite

A tempered twilight

Did it fasten like a spell?

Hard to tell

Most likely, if you could tilt the brim of it

You'd see your own reflection in it.

Peace be fortune

Peace, be well.

I wish you the finest dance

Right where you came from

So go back to hell.
