The Final Embrace
There are thousands of poems
About the first kiss
There will be poems about many kisses
To be continued later
Many kisses with love;
A few kisses in lust
light kisses even in anger ,tears, and laughter
There will be poems
About all levels of kissing
However;
An elderly body, grey haired and wrinkled,
Sits comfortably, having reached the end of life.
Another aged body approaches and delivers
A last kiss on the cheeks, a loving, tender goodbye.
Together, they leave a legacy, a poem in motion,
As their bodies wobble and sway in the final embrace.
