Last Breath

One Final Last

By Elizabeth ButlerPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Sheets crumpled, bed unfolded,

Inside someone’s memory.

Letting your spirit flow,

Entering a plain between worlds.

Now is the time to say goodbye,

Cease to exist, once eyes finally close.

Everywhere is still, my heart finally silent.
