Catch phrases or specific words that are over the top but are said to hear your laugh.

Notes written in the fogged up bathroom mirror.

Public displays of affection. Stolen kisses at red lights. A little booty slap as a reminder you’re wanted.

Teasing you about your flaws, that are also the things I love most.

I made you this.

Consistency in effort.

Sitting side by side in a restaurant booth.

Doors opened and the sidewalk rule.

Random dates and flowers just because.

Slow dances in the kitchen.

Answering the phone even when you’re busy with work. Even for only a few seconds.

Silent FaceTime calls because you can’t speak but want to see one another even for a moment.

Taking pictures or videos without having to ask. Also sharing photos when apart.

Learning about things that are important to you. Teaching you things with patience.

Running errands together.

Calling in sick to spend the day not being sick in bed together.

The language of love is written above. Hard to find and harder still to keep.
