Ali's eyes lit up with light.
Lake Louise caught her sight.
The most beautiful lake I knew in my heart.
It was a place I took her at the start.
We paddled around the lake.
Memories Ali did make.
Later, we went up to the mountaintop.
The gondola ride made a quick stop.
Looking out over the land.
Ali smiled and pointed with her hand.
Elk and bears were roaming around.
The air was so fresh, with such a unique sound.
It was a peaceful place for us to go.
Lots of new things I wanted her to know.
Next visit, Ali will bring a friend or two.
Gazing at earth, she never knew.
A land so calm and peaceful to be.
Brought comfort to her and me.
The next stop was a little town.
Lots looked at Ali with a frown.
For fear of the unknown was upon their face.
Yet Ali smiled and walked with grace.
She smiled and shopped as we went along.
We stopped and listened to a girl sing a song.
Swaying back and forth to the sound.
Plenty of people gathered around.
The visit was short, but time together was the best.
Im looking forward to when Ali brings the rest.
A new place to take them will come to mind.
Aliens can be so loving and kind.
