A stroll through anxiety

Not a warning as you awake

Unknowingly launched into space

Thoughts like earth stuck in its place

Spinning

Spinning

Spinning

Endlessly, as you float away.

A shower in your loved ones blood

You soak them in while they're hot

Conceiving that it will always flood

Pouring

Pouring

Pouring

Nevertheless goes cold, water stops.

Memories like the tally of night

Trying to count each stars own light

But stars leave in oncoming dawn

Fading

Fading

Fading

Like my mothers face, almost gone.

Trying to form your life into shape

Like making your way through a maze

Knowing your goals but not the way

Wander

Wander

Wander

And if you turn wrong, end up dazed.

Hollow words of worth and affection

Registering but not sinking in

Eventually people flee from burdens

Running

Running

Running

Such as my father, from his kids.

Approval gained like sweet candy

Yet somehow you still can't breath

Thinking more is what you need

Craving

Craving

Craving

Get enough, you might be freed.

Countless scores of empty faces

Eyes on you they fill the streets

Can't help but assume their gazes

Watching

Watching

Watching

Don't trip and fall, or make a scene.
