You ask my advice
on gaining her love
you want it to be nice
and to include a dove.
You want to spend
a small fortune
But may I recommend
to avoid misfortune
It's best to give her
What she really wants
which is not a brassiere
or a box of croissants
Just give her romance
in a scene built for lovers
someplace that'll enhance
a place not between the covers

Give her a picnic
a very special one
don't let her pick Nick
In a spot meant to stun
take her to the koi pond
to profess your love
there she will respond
with a smile from above
for no place
on this Earth
has the romance
or can unearth
her love faster
than those koi
will ever master
than some decoy
So when you propose
do so with the koi present
make sure you give a rose
to make it more pleasant
as you take to your knee
to give her your ring
she won't want to flee
but will make you her king
as long as you propose
while her love is brimming
just make sure you chose
where the koi are swimming
