Knocking Again
A Poem on Self-Discovery and Emotional Liberation

A wall of
Closed doors
Lines my path,
Each one
I’ve pushed
To open change.
My own voice
My own pace
My own truth,
A quiet rebel
A gentle force
A brave disrupter.
Turning the key
To challenge
Old defenses,
The silence
—Judgment—
The shadows
—Abandonment—
The weight
—Fear—
All pressing
Heavily
Holding me down,
A captive
Caught
In mental chains.
Until
A whisper
Rises strong:
Closed
Can mean
Blocked,
But it
Can also mean
Protected,
Ready,
Waiting
For the right
Knock.
And I—
I can still
Knock again.
I am
Not the silence,
Not the fear—
I am the knock,
And the will to try again.
