Ride Off On Your Horse, With My Heart In Your Pocket
He Rescued Me
From A Burning Barn On A Farm,
And I Flushed As He
Settled Me On His Horse,
With A Saddle And A Smile,
He Tilted His Hat And I Was Lost In His Eyes…
I Pretend To Feel The Butterflies,
Flutter Up My Spine,
As I Wrapped My Arms Around His Waist,
He Placed His Hands On Mine…
We Raced Between The Rugged Wheats And Emancipated Dandelions
I Felt The Wind Of A Happily Ever After…
Upon The Arrival Of Reaching The Bay
He Halted The Horse Next To The Lake…
I Watched As The Sun Kissed The Sky Goodbye,
And Faded Behind The Water…
Love Birds Flew Away, Before The Darkness,
And I Stood There As My Heart
Scuttled In My Arms,
Wishing I Was The Moon And He Was My Sky
Kissing Me Until The Sun Returned,
To Change The Night To Day Light.
