They told me to forget.

They told me to find someone new.

I am pretending to wait for another suitor,

But I know that it cannot be.

It was always you.

I am still waiting for you.

You are far away now, fighting for your life.

I know some of the battles you've fought.

I know that Calypso promised herself to you for seven years,

That she bewitched you and kept you as a prisoner.

I know that Circe intoxicated you and used your body.

I have my battles here at home, as well.

I am never left alone since you left.

I am surrounded by dark spirits.

Lost in a crowd, and yet I haven't seen you,

The only one I search for.

And still I am here, swearing I could never love again.

I was always faithfully yours.

I know that you will win this war and return to me.

For now, we are apart,

And that is how it must be.

We need to fight in solitude until we can fight together again.
