Kindness is not a weakness

Showing your emotions

Does not mean you are weak

I'm tired of people saying that it is

Without kindness how would this world look like?

A world filled with hatred

Not knowing who to trust

A world filled with war

With no peace treaties

With the only way to stop bloodshed is by having no one left to kill

Without kindness then this life

would only be indulged in self-awareness

People say that if you are empathetic

Then people will use you

That you have to be “strong” in order to survive

Yes, I will admit that there are cruel people in this world

That's just how life is

Like a ying-yang

The darkness and the light

If you examine a ying-yang then you will see

A speck of light in the dark

A speck of darkness in the light

Just like a human being

We are human

We have light in us

But we also have darkness in us

The only way to balance it out is

To reflect on our inner world

and not let the darkness consume us

That darkness comes in all shapes and forms

Like our darkest secrets

Our fears

Guilt and thoughts

People.

Every darkness has one goal

To stop us from reaching our goals

To change us

To make it seem like a one man world

We sometimes don't pick up on the sighs

The darkness I mean

It can be a sneaky fox disguised in a fake person

Waiting to pounce on you in your weakness

But in a way isn't that a good thing?

To only see good in people?

No matter what race, religion, or sex

They may be?

Isn't that a good thing?

To have hope for a better future

Let people talk

They have no say in your life

Just focus on your ying-yang

And I promise you

You will be victorious.
