In the silence of the darkest hour,

A life was taken by a fleeting power.

Blood and regret in the moon’s pale glow,

A shadow cast by an unseen hand,

In the quiet aftermath’s embrace,

The guilt etched deep upon a face.

No glory in the act, no pride to claim,

Just the weight of shadows and a haunting name.

In the stillness, a soul must bear,

The burden of the life laid bare.

A silent plea in the night’s deep swell,

For forgiveness that words can never tell.
