Kill The King And His Merry Men

The contrast of a conflicting heart

By Syed Arabi KhaliquePublished 2 years ago 1 min read

A "They" speaks of unity and love,

Welcoming all into the fold,

But cherishes their own ideals above all,

Which is rotten to the core.

Not for hypocrisy are they so called,

Rather for the true content of their hearts,

Seeking to control our very thoughts and actions.

And "They" draw the line of our speech,

If crossed by me and you, we are outcasts,

But "They" cross it and it is the norm.

No longer do we accept context and backstory,

Only seeing a lie through the sieves of cabals.

In true revolution now lies our only salvation,

And not it is unminded violence nor the blame game,

Rather in investigations of the dissociated facts,

And the piecing together of them shall we get the full picture,

That an entity, not an individual, runs the show.

Folks of true earth come and depart,

But the entity remains, to serve its nefarious ends,

And as history has shown us plenty of times,

That heroes die a hero's death,

But evil prevails in its wrath.
