Make sure there is oil in your lantern

Don't allow the light to ever lose its burn

The glow should be ever shining in your heart

No matter where your path shall turn

In darkness it will be your guide

A lamp unto your feet

If you should slip or slide

Your light will prevent defeat

Keep your lantern full of oil

And it shall light your way

Through danger, trials and toil

In the night seasons and during the day

Allow your lantern to shine

In the darkness of this earth

Your soul it will refine

And give you a second birth

Don't hide the lantern's light

Or be caught without any oil

Keep it lit and bright

And your adversaries you will foil

Wonderful poem, it reminds me of Matthew 25:1-13
