Kansas City Mural

In this city where people are homicidal

to even wear the colors you have to cut off a vital

killa city’s a title

where going west has no fivel

civilians and the rivals

can get it upon arrival

These days so many are packing rifles

gripping clips for survival

escaping stones with their titles

bullets, glocks, and a bible

spiritual with an idol

god vs satan and fighting for a revival

living on the other side of the tracks

my mulatto city mixed with the whites and blacks

There was a day when my town wasn’t having that

a segregated state of mind made a split in the habit

Separate but equal with a latch

The Neck was the side of the city for the blacks

Cross the wrong lines then you may not come back

White capes by the stacks

have you roped till you snapped

The history that’s left unspoken

my great grandfather saw the hate in open

now i understand why he shows no emotion

Those times given rough to the blacks with no lotion

That’s quoted

And noted

Fully uncoded

If the struggle was a book then that man could have just wrote it

Novels fully loaded

Truths worth exposing

Knowledge fully open

The Questioned ways of coping

Fast forward to a city in different presence

The life here in the present

Has its own essence

METH CAPITAL Bold like its caps message

SOA and Breaking Bad mix with its own methods

Plus the wire and the riches with their own sections

My mural of my reflection

Of my protection

My story instead of writing in books

I’d rather lay it down with 16’s and fully loaded hooks
