Lights in the City

Colors splash the ground,

hover in the air.

The night to be pierced

by the kaleidoscope of

bright lights.

-

Red.

Sizzling near the door

to convey that there should be no more.

-

Blue.

Shining bright in the night

to welcome visitors through the door.

-

Yellow.

Ablaze everywhere, piercing every shadow,

to light up the sleepy streets.

-

A kaleidoscope of colors

and bright lights

to consume the darkness

of the city night.
