She is the full spectrum of emotions, I see something new every time I turn to her. She is excitement as it collides with joy, turning into hope, then changes to wonder. She has me wondering what life was ever like before her. She has me believing in the unimaginable, and constantly aiming for the impossible. She is my past, transforming into the present, and shaping our future. She is the girl of my dreams that exists in reality. She is the reflection of the best parts of me. She is a kaleidoscope of everything I’ve ever loved. I will never get tired of looking at her.

Have you ever wondered about your memories? What are they worth? Have you ever questioned whether certain aspects of your life that you could vaguely remember were actually real or if it were just a dream. This was a thought that had been even more pertinent as I eased out of my unconscious state, trying to recall if what I had just experienced was indeed a dream out of fantasy, or myself reliving certain memories. Except there was no time to try to figure that out, because I had come to realize I was late for work, after hitting the snooze button on my phone and subsequently sleeping through the delayed alarm.

Tom had left the Ford down the way, its spark plugs finally exhausted and no mechanics for a dozen miles back through the foothills to Strossburg. No matter, he had worn his boots—almost as if he planned for this to happen. The puzzle he sought to solve emanated from the woods clinging to the slopes above; the valley behind held no mysteries.
