Kaiju

The giant amphibious prehistoric reptilian.

That emerged so discreetly from the Sea of Japan

Breathing fire like a furnace, killing civilians

With only wild theories of how it’s life began

Just like a lizard all green and scaled

Walking upright on his massive hind feet

Swinging an enormous and destructive tail

Reeking sure death on all that he meets

No army or force could slow him down

Snatching planes from the air with his short arms

His power and strength became quickly renown

Leveling cities and towns and even some farms

When he was done he returned to the sea

In assumed hibernation, till he emerges again

Atomic radiation blamed for his coming to be

Sure to return, just a matter of when
