They hung you in the indigo,

floating,

juxtaposed to my hemisphere

hovering above my half-lit sky

adorned you with dancing rings

and a crown of moons

I wish I had something, anything

to offer you-

you who harvests dream dust,

harnesses time,

conceals oceans,

and sows abundance

into the wind

but I am a reflection

of stardust,

opalite longing to shine enough.

to be worthy of even the shortest

of your days

Your poetry is always so beautiful and makes me look at things with a little more appreciation and wonder. I loved the lines: "adorned you with dancing rings and a crown of moons." But to be honest, I clung to every word and reveled in the journey.
