Here are the final ten poems of my first poetry book from Amazon.
Whisper
So quiet,
Holy like,
Softly,
Shhhh!!!!!
-------------------------
Flowers
Red, yellow
pink, orange
blue, purple
Life of colors-
Pansy, rose
marigold
iris, daffodils
daisy
Living colors.
-------------------------
Mist
Not quite rain,
Not quite snow,
Almost fog, but not quite.
Comes after a rain,
just hangs 'round.
Mysterious.
----------------------------
School
Letters, numbers, symbols,
Words, phrases, sentences,
Thoughts abound,
Learning
Caring, sharing, and
Understanding-
around the world and
yourself.
School is always there
from your earliest days
to the day you die.
Always needed to need
Potential of everyone.
---------------------------
Changes
Spring to Summer;
Summer to Fall;
Fall to Winter.
Always never the same
day to day.
Childhood to Adulthood
Always never the same
day to day.
Changes occur in all
facets of life.
--------------------------
Twilight
A wholesome time when
families seem to be closer
to each other than during
the day.
Twilight is a time for praise
and reflection of what they
did during the day and hope for
an even better day tomorrow.
A quiet time when light
loses the battle to dark,
dew lightly covers the
grasses and bushes.
Twilight a time when the
night animals spin or go into
their homes for a while. A time for
all kinds to enjoy together and
understand life to a point.
---------------------------------
Winter
Reflective
Quiet
Thinking
All winter long
Thoughts about
the old and the new
around the corner
Winter.
----------------------------
Eclipse
Brightest
Bright
Dusky
Feeling something?
Bright
Brighter
Brightest, again.
--------------------------
Books
Knowledge;
Pages of ideas,
Pictures and words,
Understanding of the world
or a small part of the world.
Open or closed
Just waiting
Offerings to anyone wanting
Waiting to learn
Always
Caring to bring understanding-
Knowledge.
(Note: I hope all who read these very early poems enjoyed them. Please comment.)
