Love found two souls in the moonlight.
They dream of one another in the daylight.
Their thoughts,
Haunted by tear-stained lips.
And then,
They’re ghosts,
Charcoal etched in veins.
There is only one color,
Trapped in photographs of a red velvet love story.
They whisper to the wind,
Telling it all the secrets, fears, and dreams.
Casting wishes, as if it were their last chance.
Pocketing memories like names picked from a garden,
The bouquet of faceless goodbyes and hello agains.
Broken, never to be fractured again.
While the two souls danced in the moonlight,
They beg for one more song.
