Just one look and I was gone
Just one touch and it was on
memories of you light up my heart
such a shame we had to part
but ooh baby
just one look, is all it took.
My Heart was pounding
my knees were weak
oh my lord
I could barely speak.
Your beautiful eyes
pierced my soul
there was no escaping
the rabbit hole.
Just one night
lasted all month long
felt so good
but oh so wrong.
There’s no denying
we played with fire
but mmm the passion
the hearts desire.
The problem was
you couldn’t stay
damn the day
you walked away.
I wish one look
would’ve made you stay
and in your arms
I could lay.
I fell for you, I fell real deep
but your heart & soul, wasn’t mine to keep.
