Just Innocence

A farewell to naivety..

By RushaPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I have heard whispers,

Since I was five,

but now that I am older,

those words are spoken clearer…

Job is money,

Money is food,

Food is life,

So live,

For the job…

Could you answer,

If money is just a paper,

Paper from a tree,

So why the long course,

When the fruit,

Could be in the backyard??

The facts? hit hard,

The truths? bitter,

The advice? baffling,

The chats? I detest,

The gossips? I regret,

The rumors? just hide’em,

The lies? burn them!

I just wish I could go back,

To when I understood less,

Be true to an innocent face,

Words would remain whispers,

Never meant for me to hear.

But that would never work ,

Cause I will always age,

I must face my earthly life,

Better now, than later,

The world must change,

Better now, than never!!
