Being in a relationship w/ someone but yet your alone.

Feeling the cold winters night lick your skin like river waters on a stone..

Having your heart taken from you and held hostage..

Seeing the world from over flooded eyes like a bathtub that’s over flooding on its own.

Hearing the tormented cry’s of a broken hearted soul.

AND

Dying all the while your crying on the inside.

Never ending love ties that surround your beautiful head.

Thinking of the what if’s

Instead…

Of the I’m glad’s and I am’s.

Regretting the chances you took by being with him and blaming yourself.

The hurt is too much for

Anyone to help.

Help you find a new heart or a new love.

Forgetting about all the times you shared.

Only for you to be wishing that you were still there.

Feeling lost, lonely, hurt, all the while in love.

Falling so hard you don’t see all the stars up a above.

YOU.

You set my soul afire like the burning of a furnace on a cold winter’s night.

But if being with you means being without you.

Then..

I rather be without you.

So I can be with me.

Because the love that I feel for you will never ever leave.

You had me now you

DON’T.

I love you but i

WON’T.

I won’t put up with the feelings of being alone.

And ignored.

I may love you but, boy your not the only thing

That I adore.

My heart beats but my mind thinks.

And when I think of you it misses a few beats.

You had me and you lost me that’s just the way it is.

How could we be together when you act like such a kid.

The games are a mess.

The feelings are gone.

This is the best time for me to move on.

I think ignoring me was the best thing you could do.

Honestly that’s one of the reasons why I left you.

I care for you more than I care to say.

But I refuse to let that be the only reason I stay.

So this is the end of this ode to you.

You broke my heart and left it in two.

Thank you for finally giving me the sight to see the dream that martin drew.

So I can carry it with me.

While I’m without you.
