Just For Tonight.

A Bedtime Fantasy.

By Cathy (Christine Acheini) Ben-Ameh.Published 7 months ago Updated 7 months ago 1 min read

I’m going to fall asleep and pretend I have a husband.

Someone beside me, steady and quiet.

I won’t disturb him with my midnight praying.

Fake it till you make it, right?

Just for tonight.

Another good thing, you don't have to smell his farts, either

  • If I'm gonna fake it till I make it, I'm gonna imagine that I don't have to worry about how much a food I want costs. Lol. Loved your poem!

The good thing about being imaginary is that he is quiet.
