June gloom.

The greyest skies, the buzzing wings,

Insects draw out as the month then brings,

Giant green bugs to consume,

Upon the overcast, the gloom.

Not yet the end of spring,

Nor the start of summers reign,

Yet for all the seasons that come and go,

The wind to toss back to and fro,

With beaches and vacation days, to gain.

Schools then ring their final bells,

The stroke of a year gone and pass,

Young hearts adventurous, emotion swells,

All before the mass.

These are the moments of all that's coming soon,

Within the first days,

The beginning, of June...
