The kindred spirits
who help our spirits grow
For a true friend
is a mirror to the soul
Reflecting back the best in us
making us whole
Through laughter and tears
triumphs and tribulations
They stand steadfast
offering unwavering consolations
Their presence
a beacon in life's stormy sea
Guiding us towards
the shore of tranquility
Together we weather the storms
we conquer the heights
Sharing in each other's joys
dispelling the night's
Darkest shadows
with the warmth of our embrace
Finding solace in the comfort
of a familiar face
International Day of Friendship
may we all
Cherish the precious ties
that heed friendship's call
For in these kindred bonds
we find our truest wealth
A sanctuary of the heart
where our spirits find health
