It is at these moments, we hug the people we love
That we are reminded of the love that knows no fear
Hugs soothe bruised knees, broken hearts
Or simply convey the message that we'll never part
It is a language understood by young and old
Bridging the gaps that time and distance have told
For in the embrace of a parent's loving arms
We find the strength to face life's myriad charms
Let us hold our children close, and let them feel
The depth of our affection, our devotion so real
In these fleeting moments, we gave them a fortune
