Joy of the heart
A poem in which the poet talks about supplication

I hit my hand with my palm
When I confessed my weakness today
As if I were a flower begging me
And if the moth wanted to sip me
As if I were feathers threatening me
A wind begging a shake to make me fall
As if I were a pomegranate feeding me
A bird came asking to pick me
Until I bridled my horse
It rushed wildly so I held it with what I added
But when it became clear to me
What longing it was hiding
I let it run but it refused
To go to a goal in the cave
I told him my desire so he told me
That the paths do not see my end
So I thought it was a lie and scolded him
But the extent of my scolding was of no use
And I asked him not to disappoint me
While I wanted to crawl
And when he saw my pride he began
to cry... And I asked him about kindness
So he turned and I went away from him and she said:
My friend, my hoof has become hot From me
So I answered her: Laziness upon laziness
She said: Does he fulfill his promises?
As if I am deaf and dumb
And I say: Treachery is not denied
So when she rested and got tired
She said: I have an illness, so who will cure it?
I said the gentlemen did not appreciate that
She said: The medicine is not enough
And I asked her, she said: I have news
The joy increased... My sadness went out
I insisted, she said to me: I gave birth
A sun whose radiance cannot be described
And with it a lost soul returned
