Jealous Moon
A Love That Outshines Even the Night Sky
The world said you are pretty, it's true,
But I see something deeper in you.
For even the moon, in her silver light,
Must envy the way you shine so bright.
Her glow is soft, her face serene,
But you, my love, are something unseen.
With every smile, you light the sky,
The stars themselves can’t help but sigh.
The moon may rule the quiet night,
But next to you, she fades from sight.
Her beauty’s distant, cold and high,
While yours is warmth, a lullaby.
So when they say you're just “pretty,” dear,
I know the truth—it's crystal clear.
For even the moon feels small, in awe,
Of the beauty in you, without a flaw.
