Jane, your poetry is uplifting
And words so stern and strong
And full of candy filled dreams,
Puffed up Lollies that taste like heaven,
And Happy Birthday’s (hope yours was absolutely perfect like your wordsmith dealings)
That feel like double rainbows and roses and greenery of beauty.
Edward & Jane are forever, friends as strings combined
And nothing but destiny can sever it,
And even then we can ask for allowances
And as Poe dreamed of a lessened dark tomorrow,
And I, Edward, know of Jane as a savior
In piercing and sweet dreams,
Know she will find her name dreamer in light and safety one new dawn.
