It Takes a Village
to Shame the Shameless Hypocrite

When you need a lawyer
with no cash to render.
John Q. Public
Pays your public defender.
Retirement approaching,
you can’t wait to collect,
Your socialist
Social Security check.
No talkin’ ‘bout bootstraps
when you’re out and down
Nowhere to be found
come your turn to buy a round.
Oh, you call yourself a Texan,
Talking ‘bout secession.
PPP and EIP,
kept you solvent last recession.
A buck gets ten
Only then will you admit
Amen, ‘it takes a village,’
to save the village idiot.
Should a Galveston encore
Come crashing ashore
And your guns come up short
Against a Categ’ry 4
You’ll abandon your
“Let’s go Branden” sham;
Hat in hand, bend the knee
to Sleepy Joe and Uncle Sam.
A buck gets ten
Only then will you admit
Amen, ‘it takes a village,’
to shame the shameless hypocrite.
