It’s not the little things

Sometimes

One day you realize that people don’t care about the little things

They get mad and complain about the things you didn’t do

And you sit there, stewing in your memories “I did that.” , confused, hurt, and nauseated

Then you wonder, ‘why do I even bother?’

Because those little things in the end do not matter, it’s the big things that do.

So why is everyone screaming “it’s the little things”

Is it??

Because people tend to forget those little things

They never remember when it matters

You say “but, I always do this”

And they yell “but you didn’t do IT”

So why is everyone shouting “it’s the little things”.
